Lowest Concern
Comparatively low acute hazard as a clean bulk element — not food-safe.
If ingested:
May cause little immediate chemical toxicity, but contamination, choking, sharp fragments, or toxic compounds can still cause harm.
Bad Idea
Not usually the scariest thing here, but definitely not food.
If ingested:
Effects may include irritation, nausea, vomiting, metal toxicity, or other systemic effects. Gases may be more dangerous by inhalation.
Do Not Lick
Toxic, corrosive, highly reactive, or otherwise hazardous.
If ingested:
Possible outcomes include chemical burns, acute poisoning, organ injury, abnormal heart rhythm, or violent reaction with moisture.
Radiological Extreme
Radioactivity dominates the warning, or only short-lived isotopes exist.
If ingested:
Internal contamination can expose tissues to ionizing radiation. Risk depends on isotope, activity, chemical form, amount, and retention.
